Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and our role

Licensedproducer operates licensedproducer.com, an independent directory that connects consumers with licensed life-insurance agents. This policy applies to "consumer health data" as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, and similar laws, and supplements our Privacy Policy. It is published at its own address because those laws require a separate, prominent policy. We are not a health-care provider and are not covered by HIPAA.

2. What we treat as consumer health data

• Your optional answer to the "general health" question on the Quote Request form (for example, "Excellent," "Good," "Average," "Below Average," or "Not sure").
• Your optional answer to the tobacco-use question.
• Any health condition, medication, or diagnosis you volunteer in a free-text field or review (please don't — we ask you not to).
• Inferences that could be drawn from those answers together with your date of birth or coverage interest.

We do not collect biometric data, genetic data, reproductive or sexual health information, gender-affirming care information, or precise geolocation, and we do not use geofencing of any kind.

3. How we collect it

Only directly from you, only when you choose to answer the optional questions on the Quote Request form, and only after you have seen and accepted this policy and our Privacy Policy. Answering is never required to submit a request or to use the Service.

4. How we use it

• To pass your request — including the answers you chose to give — to the single licensed agent you selected, so they can prepare relevant coverage options.
• To store your request so you and the agent can refer back to it.
• To comply with law, and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not use consumer health data for advertising, profiling, ranking, or analytics, and we do not combine it with data from other sources.

5. Who we share it with

• The agent you selected — the only recipient outside our service providers.
• Service providers that host and secure our systems (Supabase, Render, Cloudflare) and deliver email (Resend), under contracts that prohibit any other use.
• Authorities when required by law.

We do not sell consumer health data and have never done so. Selling it would require your separate, signed authorization, which we will not ask for.

6. Your rights

• Confirm and access: learn whether we hold consumer health data about you, receive a copy, and get a list of everyone it was shared with.
• Withdraw consent: stop further collection or sharing.
• Delete: have it deleted from our systems and from our service providers, and have us notify the agent we shared it with of your deletion request.
• Appeal a denial and, if still unsatisfied, contact your state attorney general.

7. How to exercise them

Email privacy@licensedproducer.com from the address you used on your request. We will verify you control that address and respond within 45 days, extendable once by 45 days where the law allows. Deletion also removes archived and backup copies within the timeframes the law permits. There is no fee.

8. Retention

Consumer health data is kept only while your Quote Request is active and for a reasonable period afterward for records, and is deleted or de-identified on request at any time.

9. Security

Consumer health data is stored in access-controlled databases, encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider, and visible only to the agent you selected and to a small number of administrators for support and abuse prevention. See "Data security" in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We will update this policy if our practices change and will show the date of the latest version above. Material changes are announced on the Service before they take effect.
