SMS Consent & Opt-In Disclosure
Effective: June 29, 2026 · Last revised: September 1, 2026
1. Who sends messages
Licensedproducer itself does not send marketing text messages. Text messages connected to the Service are sent by the independent, licensed insurance agent you selected, from that agent's own business phone number and messaging system. Each agent is responsible for their own messaging compliance. Licensedproducer sends only email (for example, a receipt confirming that your request was delivered).
2. How consent is obtained
2.1 Quote Request form
When you submit a Quote Request you may check a clearly labelled, unchecked-by-default box that reads, in substance: "By checking this box, I give my express written consent to be contacted by this agent and Licensedproducer at the phone number and email I provided — including marketing calls and text messages sent using an automated dialing system or a prerecorded/artificial voice — about insurance products, even if my number is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message & data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out." Your consent applies to the one agent you selected.
2.2 Review invitations
If you are an existing client of an agent, that agent may send you a single text from their own number with a link to leave a review, based on the contact details you gave them in the course of your relationship. This is a one-time, transactional message about a service you already received; reply STOP if you would rather not be texted by that number.
2.3 No other lists
We never buy phone lists, never text people who did not submit a request or receive service from an agent, and never text on behalf of anyone other than the specific agent involved.
3. Types of messages
- Replies to your Quote Request and scheduling of a call or appointment.
- Follow-up about the coverage you asked about, and answers to your questions.
- A one-time invitation to leave a review after you have worked with an agent.
4. Message frequency and rates
Frequency varies with your conversation — typically a few messages around your request. Message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that number; you will receive one confirmation and nothing further. You can also use Do Not Contact to suppress your number across the Service, or email privacy@licensedproducer.com.
6. Help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, contact the agent directly, or email support@licensedproducer.com.
7. Privacy of your mobile information
Mobile information collected as part of SMS consent — including your phone number and opt-in status — will never be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is used only to deliver the messages described here, to honor opt-outs, and to prevent duplicate review invitations. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Sample messages
- "Hi Maria, this is Dan with [Agency]. Thanks for your request on Licensedproducer — when's a good time for a quick call about final expense coverage? Reply STOP to opt out."
- "Hi Robert, it's Dan. It would mean a lot if you left me a quick review — takes about a minute, no account needed: [link] Reply STOP to opt out."
9. Contact
Questions about messaging: support@licensedproducer.com. Complaints about an agent's messaging: privacy@licensedproducer.com — we investigate every report.
